Comments:Bulman (1988) discusses the introduction history of eucalyptus into CA. The Jepson Manual lists nine Eucalyptus species naturalized in the state [Forest red gum, lemon-scented gum, manna gum, red iron bark, red gum, silver dollar gum, silverleaf gum, and sugar gum]. Some, like blue gum, are common, while others are infrequently encountered. The inclusion of this series recognizes the importance of these introduced species in CA vegetation.
