Comments:Regional descriptions mention areas with dense populations of Teddy-bear cholla as part of a mosaic with creosote bush scrub. These stands of Teddy-bear cholla are separated here as distinctive series, since the cactus dominates the landscape. Teddy-bear cholla can occur as a minor component in other series [ see Creosote bush series, Creosote bush-big galleta series, Ocotillo series]. Collecting data on this series will be a challenge.
