Comments:Pinyon-juniper woodlands are better considered a collection of series. If singleleaf pinyon dominates the stand, it is a member of this series. In the case of the Singleleaf pinyon-Utah juniper series, the two conifers are equally important [see also California juniper series, Mountain juniper series, Utah juniper series].

WIS.
