Comments:Ratliff (1985) proposed a Rothrock sagebrush vegetative series in SN. This series is more restricted than other sagebrush series. It is generally present between meadow and forest environments. On the Kern Plateau, the series is common, especially at Big Meadows, Monache Meadows, Ramshaw Meadows, and Templeton Meadows.
Plot based descriptions:Benedict (1983) defines one association in Rock Creek area in Sequoia National Park in Tulare Co. su-SN; Taylor (1984) Keeler-Wolf (1990e) one association in Harvey Monroe Hall RNA in Mono Co. su-SN.
