Comments:The Jepson Manual lists two species of duckmeat, seven of duckweed; two of mud-midget, and two of water-meal. Other aquatic plants can occur with these plants. For a stand to meet the series definition, duckweed species dominate over mosquito fern, floating-leaved, or emergent plants [ see Mosquito fern series].
